Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Which areas do you cover?
A. I am based in North Hertfordshire, but undertake photographic work right across the country - and within reason anywhere in the world! Wedding prices include return travel up to 60 miles from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, and photo-shoot prices 30 miles. For anything beyond this I add a very reasonable travel cost to the price. If you live further afield and like what you see then please don't hesitate to contact me as we will be able to arrange something affordable.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. See the PRICES page.
Q.What can I do with my pictures?
A. Included in my prices I supply you with a disk of all of your edited pictures in high resolution print ready format. These will be your pictures. You have your own prints made, a poster, canvas or fine art print for your wall, show them off on your FaceBook page and email them to Great Aunt Mildred!
If you would like something extra special beautiful high end, bespoke hand-finished photo albums and fine art prints are available. Perfect for those special pictures that you wish to treasure and will no doubt be in your family for generations - I highly recommend these for wedding clients. Please contact me for further details.
Q. Where do your photo-shoot sessions take place?
A. I like to undertake the vast majority of my work outdoors. I will happily find a location for you and typically use parks, large gardens, farmland and other rural areas. You may well have a location in mind because it is somewhere that is important to you or simply because you know that it is a nice spot, if it is appropriate then no problem! Studio based sessions can also be arranged if your require it.
Q. What if it rains?
A. We will always be governed by the weather which for the most part is a good thing and will add a lot of drama to your pictures. I work all year round and the changes that the seasons bring help to make everyone's pictures individual.
Q. How long do the photo-shoot sessions last?
A. Typically we will spend around 1 and a half hours together taking your pictures.
Q. What should I wear to my photo-shoot?
A. Within reason, anything you like! In my experience smart casual works well, avoiding fussy patterns.
