About Me

Yep, sorry, I am totally mad about taking photos. I see the world in pictures and I look at life through a lens.

Finding the perfect wedding photographer was high on our agenda when my wife and I were planning our own big day. As the years go by our wedding pictures become more and more precious, they help us to keep some of our most treasured memories fresh in our minds. We always love looking through them together and this is why I know that taking your wedding photos is a tremendous privilege. It’s a job that I cherish.

Most Exciting assignment

Nothing beats the buzz of a wedding day but this heady climb to the top of Big Ben’s Victoria Tower came pretty close! To photograph abseilers renovating the iconic clock faces I was harnessed in and required to lean right out over the edge. Did I mention that I don’t like heights?

I am fortunate enough to undertake exciting assignments for clients such as UK Parliament and the BBC as a stills photographer but absolutely nothing beats the buzz of a wedding day. From the excitement and emotion of the morning’s preparations, the jangling nerves as you step onto the aisle, right through to the joy and elation on the dance floor. It is always humbling to be along for the ride and to be a part of it with you.

a few of my favourite things

When I do get a moment to myself if i’m not taking photos with an old camera you are quite likely to find me with my head in a good novel or a photography book. Preferably with music in my ears and a cold beer in hand!

I am a husband and a dad with passions for reading, outdoor adventures, Thai food and cameras. Living with my gorgeous wife and our beautiful daughter in North Hertfordshire, these days I will mostly be found hanging out with my little princess and charging camera batteries. It’s not always glamorous but I love it!

my first dance favourite

I love music and have hugely eclectic taste. As far as the first dance goes you can’t beat Roy Orbison’s ‘I Drove All Night’. It’s an absolute belter, particularly the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s version. Sure to make the hairs on your neck stand on end and bring a tear to grandma’s eye!

If you are excitedly organising your wedding, congratulations! I would love to hear what you are planning and talk to you about how we can make some awesome and unique photos that you will hold dear for many many years.
