The pretty market town of Hitchin, frequently voted one of the happiest places to live in the UK, makes for a truly romantic setting to say “I Do”. I have had the privilege of photographing lots and lots of lovely couples saying their vows here and at many beautiful venues nearby in North Hertfordshire.
The Farmhouse at Redcoats
The Farmhouse at Redcoats is a magnificent building, parts of which date back to 1480, with delightful gardens set in rolling Hertfordshire countryside. If you are looking for a rustic barn setting few come with as much charm.

Lodge Farm in Kings Waldon near Hitchin is a beautiful place to say ‘I do’. Couples have exclusive use of the Farm House and their magical secret garden which is perfect for a tipi or marquee and situated within beautiful rolling countryside.

He arrived very early in the morning and spent a lot of time with the bridal party getting ready at the venue, then off to the church before everybody arrived, then back to the venue in time for our arrival as man and wife, he stayed long into the night in order to capture every element of our special day.
Nothing was too much trouble and for the most part of the day you wouldn’t have known he was even there.
