Same Sex Wedding Photographer

Love is love and being a part of the wedding celebration of two people who are meant to be together is the very best part of my job. I am proud to support and celebrate love between all partners, we are all human beings, it seems daft to even have to point that out. I believe we should all be free to marry the person that we love just as much as I believe that we all deserve amazing wedding photos! Whether photographing a straight, same sex, gay, or LGBTQ+ wedding, I want my couples to have the most awesome wedding photos and feel confident to be themselves.

Pike Photography is an LGBTQ+ friendly wedding supplier and is recommended on The Gay Wedding Guide.

Keep the Traditions or Rip Up the Rule Book!

With over a decade of experience and hundreds of weddings photographed, one thing I can say for sure is that you can absolutely celebrate your wedding day your way. Be it a straight or a same sex wedding, it’s your day. For instance, I have photographed couples walking down the aisle together, on the arm of a best friend, holding onto a furry friend, and just simply rocking the moment solo!

Stephen did an amazing job capturing our wedding day in Malta perfectly. We originally spoke to Stephen in early 2020 and he stuck with us when we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID restrictions abroad. He was sympathetic to our situation, and flexed fully with our changing dates.

We didn’t want to stand around and pose for lots of photos for a long time and his approach to capture moments that were natural and authentic have us reliving the whole day over and over again.

We are so thrilled with the end result and we couldn’t recommend a more genuinely nice person who is worth every penny.

Same sex wedding at Hotel Cromwell

Kate and Kelly said “I do” at the beautiful Hotel Cromwell in the Stevenage Old Town. Their same sex wedding day was an absolute blast, from the emotional and personal vows right through to an epic party with live music by 9 piece group Revival Function Band, and a raucous hockey stick archway send off provided by the couple’s team mates! We couldn’t recommend Stephen more highly across the board. The photos he produced for our wedding were absolutely amazing. He is a true professional and gentleman. He made us feel completely at ease allowing us to enjoy our day whilst also capturing every aspect of it for us. We cannot thank him enough!

LGBTQ+ Wedding in St ALbans

Jas and Ellis made got married their way at the historic St Albans Museum and Gallery. The couple entered the old courtroom simultaneously from opposite sides, meeting in the middle to make their vows. This was the start of a perfect day that was a rollercoaster of love, happy tears and laughter. Read the full story on the blog.

Stephen was utterly fantastic! He was very friendly and professional throughout. My wife and I don’t normally enjoy being photographed, but Stephen made us feel so comfortable from the outset and took some amazing photos! I’d recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much, Stephen!

Stephen photographed our wedding last month, and he was absolutely amazing. His photos truly captured the special moments from our day. All our guests commented on how great Stephen was, and that he wasn’t intrusive. We will definitely recommend Pike Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. A huge thank you to Stephen for being awesome!
